What is anti-metal RFID CARD

RFID system works based on two-way radio wave transmission technology that automatically identifies and captures information stored on an RFID card. However, it could not works at the circumstances when applying RFID card or tag on a metal surface. That’s because metal surfaces reflect energy emitted from RFID readers and create interference for RFID tag antennas, which means the tag isn’t able to receive power and transmit information. For such an application, an anti-metal RFID card or label is needed to solve such a problem. So the question is, What is an anti-metal RFID card?

Anti-metal card (or in the form of tag or label) are specialized RFID card that can be read from conductive surfaces, mainly apply to the metal object. AN Anti-metal RFID card is embedded with absorbing material, which is placed between the RFID inlay and the laminated PVC sheet. The absorbing material works to decrease the amount of interference caused by the metal or other objects with a conductive surface.
